Kashia is a workforce platform built for Africa. It combines Kashia Hire (verified talent and employment), Kashia HR (payroll, attendance, and people operations), and Kashia Vault (secure escrow for deals). Companies use Kashia to hire, pay, and manage teams across African markets, and to handle trusted payments on cross-border work.

Kashia Hire and HR currently support Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Angola, with more markets on the roadmap including South Africa, Rwanda, Egypt, and Senegal. Each country has its own statutory payroll rules, see our Global Hiring Guides for details.

Not necessarily. With Kashia Hire's outsourcing model, Kashia can employ talent locally on your behalf while your team manages the day-to-day work. For direct hire, Kashia supports compliant contracts and onboarding. Either way, you avoid months of entity setup in a new market.

Direct hire means Kashia helps you find, vet, and onboard talent who work as part of your team, with Kashia supporting contracts and compliance. Outsourcing means Kashia is the employer of record: we handle employment, payroll, and statutory obligations while you manage the work. Choose based on how much local employment liability you want to carry.

Candidates in the Kashia talent pool go through skills assessments, identity verification, and compliance checks before you see their profile. This is not a open marketplace, every person is known to Kashia before they reach your team.

Timelines vary by role and country. Once you define the role, matching typically takes days, not weeks. Onboarding (contracts, payroll setup, statutory registration) usually completes in 1–3 weeks depending on document readiness and the country.

Kashia HR calculates and tracks statutory deductions per country. In Nigeria that includes PAYE, pension (PenCom), NHF, NHIA, ITF, and NSITF. In Kenya: PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, and Housing Levy. In Ghana: PAYE, SSNIT, and Tier 2 pension. Angola: IRT and INSS. Rates update as regulations change.

Yes. Kashia HR works for companies with existing employees, not only teams placed through Kashia Hire. You can import employee records, configure salary structures, and run compliant payroll from the same dashboard.

Managed HR is a hands-off option where Kashia's team runs day-to-day HR operations for you, onboarding, payroll processing, leave tracking, and compliance reporting. It's available on Enterprise plans and for companies that want HR expertise without building an in-house team.

Yes. Employees can view payslips, request leave, and update personal details through the Kashia employee portal. Admins manage approvals and see real-time attendance and leave balances from the main dashboard.

Kashia Vault holds funds in escrow until agreed milestones are met. It's designed for project-based work, agency contracts, freelance engagements, and cross-border deals where both parties want payment protection.

You define milestones upfront. When work is submitted and approved, funds release to the recipient. If there's a dispute, Kashia provides a structured resolution process before any funds move.

No. Kashia Vault is a separate product with transaction-based pricing. It works alongside any Kashia HR or Hire plan when you need secure payments for deals or project work.

Yes. Kashia HR offers a 14-day free trial on Starter and Growth plans. No credit card is required to start. Kashia Hire and Vault pricing depends on your use case, contact us for a quote.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. If you exceed employee limits on Starter, we'll notify you and help you move to Growth, your data carries over.

We accept bank transfers, card payments, and Monnify for Nigerian customers. Enterprise clients can arrange custom billing terms and invoicing.
