Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)

Our client is looking for a frontend engineer who cares about how things feel, not just whether they work. You'll be building customer-facing product surfaces from Figma through to production.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain product interfaces in Next.js and TypeScript

  • Translate design files into accurate, responsive, accessible components

  • Integrate with backend APIs and handle loading, error, and edge states properly

  • Contribute to and maintain a shared component library

  • Catch and fix performance issues before users do

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years building production React applications

  • Strong TypeScript and modern CSS (Tailwind or similar)

  • Experience with Next.js App Router and server components

  • Good eye for detail — spacing, states, and motion matter here

  • Comfortable working from Figma and giving design feedback

Nice to have

  • Experience with design systems or component libraries

  • Testing experience (Playwright, Vitest, or similar)

  • Some backend or API design exposure
